Obituary of Gerald 'Jerry' Richard Pushie

Gerald ‘Jerry’ Richard Pushie, 62 Glace Bay, N.S. It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend Gerald "Jerry" Richard Pushie, 62, of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Jerry was the son of the late Orville Pushie and Joan MacNeil of Glace Bay. Besides his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his brothers Ewen and Gordie, nephews Matthew and Stefan, and Uncle Archie. Jerry is survived by his children Ashley, Jennifer, Jerry, Joey, and Brian, his nine grandchildren, as well as his three great-grandchildren. Jerry is also survived by his brothers Joey, Larry, Danny, and Ronnie, sisters Marie, Louise, and Linda, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jerry was known for his talent as a mechanic and handyman. He loved listening to music, especially Stompin' Tom and Johnny Cash. He also enjoyed collecting various antique items, watching old western movies, going for long drives with his family, and taking trips to the beach. Jerry was a kind and gentle soul who had a great love for his family and his two dogs. Jerry was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Forget me not when I am gone, in hearts and prayers, I will live on. Be strong, be brave and dry your tears, remember all our happy years. Service arrangements have been entrusted to T.J.
