Wayne Carl MacDonald, 75 of Halifax, NS. passed away December 7, 2023, at the QEII Victoria General Hospital. Born in Cape Breton, NS he was the son of Michael and Helan McDonald.
Wayne worked many years at Domtar Inc before retiring and moving to Halifax. Wayne loved long walks, fishing, horse racing, and playing cards with his many friends. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grand-kids.
Wayne is survived by his long time partner, Frances Pottie; previous partner, Wanda MacDonald; son, Louie Manzo (Tammy); daughters, Tamara MacDonald (Randy), Micki Joaquim (Paul), Misty Strickland (Brad), Tammy Pottie; brother, Michael McDonald; grandchildren, James, Madelin, Macy, Miller, Alexus, Logan, Irelynn, George, Shianne, Angel, Savannah, Ethan; and great grandchildren, Karlie, Tyler, Pierre and Taya.
He is predeceased by his mother Helan and father Michael.
He will be missed by many friends and family.
