MURPHY, Cecil Brother
With sadness, we announce the passing of Cecil Brother Murphy, 75, of Halifax, NS on Saturday, October 21, 2023. He passed away in hospital.
Cecil was an avid Blue Jays baseball fan, his Checker cab and classic cars. He will be remembered for his great dry sense of humour.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Adelle (Pilcher) of 52 years; son, Cecil; daughter, Alana Hayman (Dave); grandchildren, Quinn and Violet; sisters, Sandra St. Peters and Carol Anne Salkin; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins. The family would especially like to thank his niece Tanya Nixon for her support during the past few years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MS Society of Canada.
Cremation has taken place. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. A celebration of life will take place at a future date.
