Obituary of Hilda Margaret Ann Schnare

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Hilda, announce her passing on October 12, 2023, at the age of 69. She was born in Halifax on January 18, 1954, to the late Charles and Eileen (Roma) Probert. Hilda worked at Zellers, then Sears, then as a lunch monitor. Then she stayed home to look after her family, which she loved so much. One of her favourite places to go with her family was Lake Charlotte. She enjoyed all the occasions, especially Christmas. Those closest to her enjoyed her special rendition of Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary. She was such a kind and loving person who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen; son, Brian (Melanie Marriott); daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Austin, Evan, Mitchell, and Janessa; sisters, CarolAnn (Michael) Cook, Eileen (Harold) Pelham, Sharon Doucette and brothers, William (MaryAnn) Probert, Charlie (Holly) Probert; mother-in-law, Shirley Schnare; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Brian) Grandy and Wendy Schnare, also several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by, her grandchild Logan; brothers, James, and Arthur; baby sister, Deborah Probert; father-in-law, Douglas Schnare; brothers-in-law, Brian and Gerald Schnare and Joseph Doucette.
