Obituary of Patricia Marie Elizabeth Arsenault
Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Patricia Marie Elizabeth Arsenault (nee Wilson), 75 of Halifax, passed away September 23 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late, Charles and Gertrude (Gray) Wilson.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Kim and son-in law Vernon Carvery, grandson Anthony (Kaitlyn) and great grandsons Mateo and Malakai.
She will lovingly be remembered by her siblings, Kenneth (Brenda Camp), Leonard (Gail), Cindy (Richard) Howard, Charlene (Clyde) Wilson-Oliver; as well as countless in-laws, nieces, nephews, and all those she considered part of her extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; sisters Diane, Carm, Corrine; and brothers, Doug, Bernard and Bobby (Gray).
She worked at Sears for 36 years before retiring to enjoy her time with family and friends. She spent most of her weekends camping at Sherwood Forest for the last 40 years, where she made countless friends and amazing memories.
She also loved family trips to Prince Edward Island. Her favorite time spent was with her grandson and great grandsons, her face lit up brighter than the stars when she saw them. Mom always gave selflessly to everyone, putting them before herself. She had a beautiful smile and a quick wit, a true Northender.
She was the biggest worry wart in the world, always concerned about everyone and everything, which sometimes drove us nuts!!!! She loved to bake, play suduko, read and surf Facebook. Words can’t describe the void she has left in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Saint Mother Teresa Catholic Church (formerly St. Stephen’s) on Monday, October 2 at 11:00 am.
We would like to express a huge thank you to her special niece Jyl for all the help, love and support she always gave to mom. The family would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the team on 7.2 at the QEII.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
