Obituary of Oussama El-Diri

EL-DIRI, Oussama (Sam) , Halifax. With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Oussama (Sam) El-Diri on September 23, 2023, at the age of 62. Oussama was born in Deddé, koura, Lebanon, in 1961. Oussama is survived by his beautiful wife, Antoinette. He was a proud father of a son, Eddy, and a daughter, Naya. He will be dearly missed by his beloved mother, Laure; his siblings, Nicholas, Hala, and Roula; and his nieces, Eletta and Joy-lee. His love and affection will forever be a guiding light in their lives. He is predeceased by his father, Adib El-Diri. We will miss you tremendously, "Baba." You had the softest heart, and even though a failing heart took you away from this world, now, we will carry you in our hearts always. Go to your House of Beauty in Heaven and wait for us there. In honoring Oussama's memory, let us remember the love he shared, the joy he brought, and the impact he made on our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Arrangements have been entrusted to T.J.Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists. Visitation will take place Tuesday, 26th September 2023 between 5pm and 7pm in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 73 McQuade lake Crescent, Halifax, NS B3S 1C4. A Funeral Service, with Fr. Maximos Saikali presiding, will take place at Saint Antonios Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2480 Windsor St, Halifax, NS B3K 5B9, on September 27th at 11:00. Interment will take place at Saint Antonios Cemetery.
