Dear Carol,
It was a sad day when we heard of George’s death. We are so grateful that we had a visit with you last October and had a chance to have another laugh with George. We did have some great times together!
George’s obituary was enlightening. He gave back so much to the National Architectural community, and the local organizations that he believed in and supported. It is wonderful that you had 35 happy years and adventures together. You will always miss him but you will have good memories to help you through the hard times.
Please know we are thinking of you and send our love.
Bill and Cynthia

Dear Carol and family members
I am very very sorry for the passing of Grorges and I wish I can be by your side at this difficult time.
Georges was a great and sincere friend with a great sense of humor and cooking skills. I enjoyed a lot the dinners at your house. The various cultural, architectural, religious and food discussions used to be fun especially his jokes.
He will be greatly missed
Rest In Peace my dear Georges and stay strong Carol

Carol,
I am so sorry to hear about George. I only spent a short time working with him, but he made a lasting impression on me. To have worked with such a gentleman in your formative years was an honor. I recall, George and I had beards at the time and upon arrival at the office one day George was inside using the glass door to fix his shirt or tie. When I appeared through the door, he laughed and thought all the grey had magically disappeared from his beard. My only regret is I didn’t get to work alongside him for a longer time.

Dear Carol:
Our sincere condolences on your loss and George's sudden passing. George was a great friend and mentor to me over some 45 years of business and social relationships. George gave me my fist opportunity to work on a major landscape design project on the early Halifax and Dartmouth Waterfront projects.
He and planner Chris Lowe were my thesis advisors when I went back to do a masters degree in planning and the three of us always made it a point to meet for lunch around Christmas every year for an update. Sadly our attempt to meet again this year failed when George's health deteriorated.
George's legacy lies in the buildings and projects he and his firm carried out and his contributions to the field of Architecture and Planning. He will be sorely missed and Carol, our hearts go out to you

George was a very kind , welcoming individual who was always sensitive to the needs and concerns of others.
Dinners at his house provided the opportunity to sample meals prepared by a true chef
