Alexandra Grace Parsons, 23
Dominion, N.S.
We are so heartbroken to announce the passing of our beautiful girl Alexandra Grace Parsons at the young age of 23. Alexandra was a loving daughter, sister, and fiancé, and the most beautiful girl, inside and out. She always had the biggest smile and was so loved by everyone who knew her. Born in Halifax she was the beloved daughter of Alison Martell and Martin Parsons (Dodger).
Alexandra was her mother’s best friend, and they spent many quality hours together. Alex was such a fun-loving person and enjoyed so many activities, one of her favourite pastimes was playing video games; she loved mudding on the four wheelers, and spending time on the shooting range. Alex spent countless years volunteering at Branch 78 Legion on Neville Street, Dominion. Alex’s favourite pastimes, however, were spending quality time with her family and many friends, and especially her adoring fiancé Jason and their dog Sonya. She was much loved by her fiancé Jason LeDue, while they were together their love for each other was obvious to anyone who saw them.
Besides her parents and fiancé, Alex is also survived by her two brothers David and Allan. Also, Johnathan Lahey and Scott Martell who she considered brothers. She loved them all so much and they each loved their baby sister beyond measure. Alex is also survived by her nephew Dominic and her niece Naomi; they loved their Aunt Alex to the moon and back. She is survived by her sister-in-law Tiffanie Parsons with whom she made many special memories, Tiffanie was the big sister Alex wanted; Alexandra is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly. Alex had countless close friends who were like family to her and are broken-hearted as well.
Alex was predeceased by her stepfather Kevin Dunn, whom she adored; grandparents Art and Cle Martell, and Martin and Vivian (Shutty) Parsons; two aunts Alma Parsons and Selena Martell.
Words cannot express the devastating loss felt by Alex’s entire family and group of friends. She will be forever loved and forever missed!
