To Glen and family,
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Leah's untimely passing this afternoon. I had no idea she was ill. I worked with Leah at Aliant for many years and we shared many stories and laughs together. She was even my supervisor for a brief time. Best boss I ever had! She was such a nice person and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Sending deepest sympathies to everyone. Rest In Peace, Leah.

Words can’t express the profound void that will be felt everyday by those of us who were fortunate enough to know and love my Auntie Leah. I was fortunate to have the strongest woman I know as my aunt and consistent confidante. Her witty, kind, nurturing spirit will live on through those of us who were lucky to have known and loved her. Always.

Leah and I were life long friends and I am full of love and gratitude to have been part of her life. Leah was so much fun, kind, caring, loving person with a wonderful sense of humour. She was all round genuine person and will be missed by many. I can't believe I will not her laugh and saying to me "What are you up to now girl" anymore. She would always listen to my crazy ideas.
I will miss you and love you forever. Rest easy my dear friend until we meet again.

You truly are an amazing, strong, beautiful, selfless woman and you showed that right to the end. Through all of your fears and pain you never stopped caring for those around you. You never complained about what you were feeling and you continued to push through your days still loving and being supportive to those who counted on you.
I will forever be grateful for having you apart of my life. We shared many good laughs and stories as well as moment where we just sat quietly crying holding hands because in those moments that’s what we needed to do.
Your last words to me was “ I love you” and my last words to you was “ I love you too” and I will forever hold on to that moment.
I love you and as hard as it is to let you go and to see the pain behind your boys eyes I have found peace knowing you are no longer suffering and they will be ok because they have us to make sure of that ❤️
