My condolences to all of Chucks family. I worked with Chuck in Selkirk Manitoba which was his first RCMP Detachment. We became good friends and I was honored to have been his Best Man at his wedding. It was a whirlwind non stop trip from Selkirk to Oxford Junction in Chuck's vehicle, the driving being shared by me, my wife and Chuck. Once at Oxford Junction and upon meeting Lorraine and all Chuck's family it turned out to be one of the most memorable holidays ever. Rest in Peace my friend....

In Truro in the late 1970s and early 80s Chuck was my colleague, neighbour, mentor and friend. We shared a passion for competitive handgun shooting. He was president of the Truro Combat Shooting Club and I was secretary. We raised funds to build a shooting range and then held many matches with competitors from all over the country. This also helped increase the shooting skill of operational RCMP members.
I will also be forever grateful to him that he also helped me gain experience by letting me instruct some highway patrol courses e.g. ALERT and Aircraft Observer which eventually helped get me to Depot as an instructor. I remember helping him tear down an old barn for the boards to finish his basement in Truro. Unfortunately, we found out that the boards were full of bugs which ended up infesting his whole house!

I was saddened to learn of Chuck’s passing. I had the privilege of working with Chuck at DNR as the Enforcement Division’s secretary. Just knowing him for a short time, I was given the responsibility of organizing his retirement party where he was treated with utmost respect from his fellow officers. Chuck was one of the most considerate and caring people I have worked with. He also knew how to write a concise “Operations Manual” for the division and to my surprise, he made sure I knew the format of the manual by giving me a “test”. Such fond memories of Chuck and will remember him as a true gentleman. My heartfelt condolences to the Moore family during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Nancy Himmelman

Sending deepest condolences to Chuck's family.
I worked with Chuck at the Department of Natural Resources for many years, and Chuck was a gentleman in every sense of the word! Always the first to offer help, stopped by to not just say hi, but ask how I was and ask about my family, by their name. A truly considerate person. I'm sure he will be deeply missed.

A wonderful tribute to a kind and gentle man who will be missed. One of our favorite memories of Chuck is seeing him, along with his dog Morgan as co-pilot, in his truck complete with snowplow the morning after a winter storm. They were looking for people who needed help clearing their driveway. We always felt a huge wave of relief at this sight and will never forget his neighbourly kindness. May he and Lorraine rest in peace.
