Grandad, your light shone brightly for me when I was growing up. I have so many amazing memories of my childhood that you were apart of. From playing your Mario Lanza records and singing his songs, to watching the movie “The Student Prince” with me. (What became my favorite movie, I still have a copy on VHS tape) Even making me return a dress to the store because it was too short and introducing me to my first olive. My brothers, sister and I - John, Kevin & Heather were blessed to have been able to have our grandparents living so close to us as we grew up, being part of our daily lives. Each of us having our own special times.
Grandad – we will always remember your strength and love. You held a special place in the hearts of your grandchildren and great-grandchildren and left us with many wonderful lasting memories.
I am truly grateful for all the moments I had with you.
~ Ann Marie

Sincere condolences to the family. I met Lou through my brother in law, Gordie, when they lived in Shannon Park where I babysat Sylvana, Maria and Greg. He was always friendly and caring and constantly apologized when he and Flo came home late from a social function saying Flo wouldn’t stop talking but I knew who the talker was. I have such fond memories of Papa Moro. I will never forget how he would make you feel like the most important person in the room. When I was a kid, and would visit him in the house above nanny and Grampy Buckland, I would always be greeted with a big energy “HIYAH LISA”! Or “Lisa Lisa Lisa- how the heck are ya!!” And he would nee-verrrr let me leave without a treat bag (and a hug!) Visiting him never felt like an inconvenience and I will always remember that feeling. Always! Thank you to papa Moro for always being so welcoming. Rest in peace ♥️
