Obituary of Henry James Thouless

THOULESS, Henry James (Harry), 75, of Dartmouth passed away March 10th, 2023, at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the only son of Henry and Jessie Thouless.
Harry enjoyed fishing, bowling, and listening to Country music, his favourite being George Jones. He was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. Harry was very fond of his dachshund, Peppy. He was last employed with Adesa Canada for many years.
Harry is survived by his wife, Pauletta (Shepherd) of 47 years; foster son, Edward and five sisters, Marion Gomes (Clive), Ann, Deborah Cleary (Bill Boutilier), Donna Rudderham (Scott), and Kathy all of Dartmouth; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law ,nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Harry was predeceased by a sister in infancy.
No Visitation. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to NS Lung Association, or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr K. Singh, and all the team of 4 east, Dartmouth General Hospital, in particular, Nurse Jenny, for the wonderful care and compassion they gave our loved one. We are so grateful to you all.
