I had the privilege of working with Deborah when I joined the provincial government in 2007. I had my daughter right around the same time sweet Jayla was born. I vividly remember that day, Deborah was so proud and I loved continuing to watch their adventures together and also when Leland came along, without a doubt Nanny G loved her grandbabies! Deborah did everything with 200% effort, she worked hard, loved her family fiercely and made a lasting impression on everyone that was lucky enough to cross paths with her. I am so sorry that she is no longer here with you on Earth, but I have no doubt her work is not done and you will continue to be blessed with her love and kindness in many ways.

Thinking back 50 years to when Deborah was 10 and I was 18, she was helping people even then. Our neighbor in Toronto had a dog that terrified me with it’s barking. It was running loose and I had to go to work but was afraid to go outside. Deborah took my hand and walked me to safety. I still think of my step-sister as a sweet little girl with her tiny hand in mine. She’s had a very hard road sometimes but also great blessings in Blaine and her family. I’m so glad for all the love she had. Also for all the appreciation of friends and neighbors. Love and prayers are with you, Deborah. Always. And she will be with those she loved, always.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences and pray the God of all comforts, consoles you with His love during this time.
I share many fond childhood memories of Debbie. Being cousins of the same age we spent countless hours running barefoot at grandma’s cottage, swimming in Georgian Bay until our skin was so wrinkled like prunes, fishing and playing cut out paper dolls. We also had our share of childhood spats and adventurous explorations as young teens. However we did go our own separate ways and lost touch but I did think of her often. I hope that one day in the Lord’s time we will meet again in His kingdom and share much laughter together again. May the Lord watch over you all. God Bless you and keep you.
Sincerely,
Your Cousin,
Suzie White
