I am so sorry to hear that Uncle Sonny has passed it was aways one of the stops we made when my Dad (Bill) and Mom ( Eileen) went for a visit when the family went on vacation every two years. It is with great sadness that we read of Sonny's passing. He was a lovely man. We enjoyed playing darts with him and his wonderful Eileen. This lead to many laughs and some great times. My thoughts and most sincere sympathies are extended to all family members and friends. Being from the Pier, I spent lots of time on the ball field against the Boys from the Bay. Wouldn't have had it any other way. A true competitor on and off the field. Rest easy Sonny.

Steve ...so sorry to hear of your family’s loss.
I remember when I first played fastball ,being younger, our team jumped up from juvenile age to the big leagues against guys like Sonny, Francie Bonnar, Big Jim. We were so intimated by those guys because of their experience.
I will hang onto those memories for a lifetime .
Your family will be in my prayers.
