We were so saddened to hear of Kenny's passing. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. There are many fond memories of Kenny when we played hockey together with the Independents. He was a fun guy to be around and never a dull moment in the dressing room banter. Rest in peace Kenny.

I want to offer my most sincere condolences to Marg and family on Kenny’s passing. I was a member of the Riverside staff with Kenny for a number of years before my retirement. I was impressed by his intelligence, his dedication and enthusiasm, and his respect for staff, parents and community members. Most importantly, he had a deep respect for the children in his charge. Kenny was an overall good person and he will be missed. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.

Marguerite and family, LeBlanc family;
My sincere condolences on your tremendous loss. I’ve enjoyed reading the remembrances of Ken over the last few days, especially from the lives that he touched at Riverside. I love a story where the ordinary guy turns out to be the extraordinary hero; I wish that the ending could have been different. Ken navigated his illness with courage and grace, and it was always a pleasure to serve him. I am so sorry.

Too Marguerite and family, Please accept our deepest condolences at this heartbreaking time. I've know ken for some years now and I always found him to be fair and square. We had our battles on the ice over the years in the Dominion hockey league, but that was it, what happened in the game stayed in the game. He was a good man. From both Marlene and I may his rest be easy. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
