Obituary of Deanna Deveaux

Mary Deanna (Currie) Deveaux, Glace Bay 1962-2021 It Is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Our Beautiful Deanna on June 15, 2021. Deanna was Born on January 28,1962 in Sydney Mines, but made her life in Glace Bay where she met and married her husband, Craig Deveaux. Deanna had a love for children and seniors that was genuine and beautiful. Over the course of the years, Deanna worked for Nightingale Nursing services as a Care Worker. Deanna studied Early Childhood Education, and later worked at Jewels and Gems Daycare, Town Daycare, Ground’s Supervisor for the CBVCE and Servicom, where she developed some wonderful friendships. Deanna is survived by her son, Sean, his fiancé Katie, and granddaughter Gracie, they were her world. Also left to mourn Deanna is her mom, Agnes Currie; mother and father-in-law, Ann, and Alex Deveaux; siblings, Bert (Donna)Currie, Joe (Clare) Currie, Margaret (Danny) Campbell, Paula (Jonny) Legatto; Sister-in-law’s Debbie McNeil and Wendy Markey Mc Phee. Deanna had a special love for each and every one of her nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn was her special friend Vern Golemiec Deanna was predeceased by her Husband, Craig of thirty years, also her father whom she adored, Jon Joe Currie. Due to COVID-19, there will be a private family service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and guidance of T.J.
