Obituary of James Edwin Dempsey

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of James Edwin Dempsey Jr. 58, of Windsor junction on Friday June 26th, 2020. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Edward and Patricia Ann Dempsey. James loved to work on his 1975 Pontic Firebird, hang out with his dog Bugsy and spend time with his friends and family. James worked hard at his career as a roofer from a young age. He was diagnosed with cancer in February 2020 and fought hard until the end. He was surrounded by his large family who showed him tons of love and support. He leaves behind to morn daughters, Kayley Dempsey and Alicia Tingly (Jonathan); two grandchildren, Jonathan (12) and Connor (10); brothers, Mark (Nancy) Dempsey , Ronnie (Carrie) Dempsey and Stephen (Katie) Dempsey; sisters, Ruth (Bryan) Watson, Cathy (Bill) Skinner and Sherry (Greg) Dempsey; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In keeping with James wishes there will be a public visitation held Thursday July 2, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at T.J.
