Obituary of Darlene Blaikie

Blaikie, Darlene, 72, Truro passed away Sunday, March 24th, 2024 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Darlene was born in Truro, NS. She was the daughter of late Alfred and Celia (Crowe) Lynds. She is survived by her two grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Ethan (Charlotte) Crowe and Kennedy Crowe; sisters Rose (Morris) McCallum of North River, Jane Moore (David Alders) of Truro, Joan (Warren) McAuley of Bridgewater; brothers Eric (Nancy) Lynds of Ontario, Willie Lynds of Bible Hill; brothers-in-law, Charles Wilson of Bible Hill, Kenneth Lemmons of Bible Hill, Orville Otterson of Crowes Mills; sisters-in-law Lorraine Lynds and Helen Lynds; dear friend Rickie, daughter-in-law Nicolle Veinotte and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Kerry Blaikie, son Shawn Crowe and infant son Freddy Crowe, infant granddaughter Regan Crowe; mother-in-law Roberta, sisters, Phyllis Wilson, Irene Otterson, Irma Lemmons; brothers, Donald Lynds, Robert Lynds, Foster Lynds, Murray Lynds; sisters-in-law, Lillian Lynds, Betty Lynds and Vie Lynds Darlene will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Hopefully she is now at peace in the arms of Kerry and Shawn.
