Katherine Rose Gouthro, 73

It is with great sorrow, that we, the family of Katherine Rose Gouthro announce her passing on Friday, July 31, 2026, at home, with her loving family at her side. Katherine was the daughter of the late Danny and Rose Peori.

She is survived by her loving husband Aloysius Gouthro of 52 years; two sons: Christopher and Joseph Gouthro; three brothers: Ronnie, Gordon, and Joseph Gouthro; a sister, Anita MacIsaac; and two grandchildren: Sarah and Madison Gouthro.

Alongside her parents, Katherine was predeceased by Gordon Peori and her daughter, Theresa Gouthro.

Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. (902-849-4199). There will be no visitation.
