Jacklynn was a very special woman with great vivacity for life and an untouchable sense of humour. Her presence alone would brighten a room. We had grown up together and kept in touch over the years - (She had an appreciation for my songwriting!). No doubt her loss will be felt very deeply by those who knew her best, who knew the type of character she possessed. She was strong, free, and basically a downright beautiful soul. Her passing is a great loss and I will miss her very much.

Jack & I shared lots of special memories growing up in North Sydney. Whether it was our all star volleyball days, giggles during church service on Sunday or our many nights spent in Halifax we always had a great laugh. You’ll be missed by many girl. Rest peacefully xo ❤️

Jaclyn and I had always kept in touch over the years. We shared our love for reading and Jean's Chinese take-out in Halifax. I have countless fond memories that I will carry. My condolences to Mary, Jack, Sandy, and family ❤️ This was such a shock and hit hard. Jacqueline was such an amazing person, she will always be remembered for her kindness and amazing humor. I think one of my most favorite early memories with Jacqueline was during our grade 6 year at St. Mary's. Our little crew would run across the train tracks on Fridays to McDonald's to get a Happy Meal and run back before the lunch bell went off.

Mary, Jack, Anjanette and Aiden, There is little that can be said when such sadness has arrived in your lives. And so we find strength in our faith and recall the happiest of memories and tell and retell those stories. Jaclynn was a bright, free spirited girl , right from the start. Her smile and laughter was infectious and I remember that little primary who was so full of bubbly personality. She later became part of my grade 6 and continued to be that same, questioning, curious girl. She was always in the center of discussions and that smile would light up our room when the rest of the group agreed with her. Mary, Jack, Anj, and Aiden, Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I remember Jacklyn first as the little sister who always tagged along during our younger years, and later as my teammate on our volleyball teams. Her dry sense of humour and quick sarcasm always made me laugh and could lighten the mood during even the most stressful practices and games.
