My sincere condolences to Betty's family at this time. We became friends over 20 years ago when she started taking care of our tax returns at H and R Block. I always looked forward to our chats at "tax" time, and her care for her clients was always very evident.
I was saddened to hear she was dealing with health problems and shocked to see her recent obituary.
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and hold dear the many good memories. By the way, a lovely picture of her.

Betty was my first cousin ( her mother and my father were siblings). When we were kids, I would go for sleepovers at Betty and Cynthia’s house. Betty was always a gentle soul, so easy to get along with. Life sent us in different directions. I wish I could have spent more time with her. Condolences to her family as she will be missed a lot.

The loss of a mother is unlike any other loss; a mother is our first source of comfort, our first teacher, and the person who shows us that love is unconditional. Finding the “correct words” to offer you comfort during your time of grief is a task so I shall make it simple.
My heart aches for you and your family. I trust that as you all share memories, have some laughs and shed some tears all followed with a drink (cheers), may you find some comfort with those that surround you.
