The family of Gail Patrick Coleman regret to announce her passing on Saturday, June 6, at the Halifax Infirmary with her loving daughter, Tracey, by her side.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Tracey, who she adored; grandson, Micthell, who was her shining light; son, John and his children, Tylor, Jordan, Jacquline, and Ashley; and great-granddaughter, Piper. She is also survived by her brother and sister, Percy (Shirley) Tanner and Joyce (Phillip) Hogue, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gail was predeceased by her husband, Jackie Coleman; parents, Ola and Bill Tanner; and brother Vince McSweeney.

Gail loved playing cards, 45’s and crib, especially with her friend, Mavis Kennedy.

Gail also had an extraordinary special bond with her grandson, Mitchell, as they did everything together. Gail also had an extraordinary bond with her daughter, Tracey, who she absolutely adores.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax, NS, B3S 1C4. There will be no visitation, a private service will take place at a later date.
