Nancy LaJeunesse Obituary

Nancy passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, kindness, and unforgettable moments. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe LaJeunesse; and her cherished son, Jason, both of whom she carried in her heart every day.

She is survived by her brother, David Corbin (wife Millie) of Timberlea; and her sister, Marge Zloty of British Columbia, as well as her niece's and nephew's along with generations of great and great great nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Anyone who knew Nancy will remember her calm spirit, her quick wit. She loved to laugh — truly loved it — and she had a gift for making others feel lighter just by being near her.

For 31 years, Nancy was a proud and dedicated employee of Costco, where she built friendships that became like family.

Nancy also had a passion everyone knew well: Disney. From her many trips to the parks to her seasonal outfits and little touches of magic, she embraced it all with a childlike excitement that made people smile. Some of her happiest memories were made on Disney trips and PEI with her close friends, who shared in her joy, her laughter, and her love for all things magical.

Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, her humour, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone lucky enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 28, 2026, from 1pm to 4pm in the MacDonald Memorial Legion Branch 156, 231 Greenhead Rd, Lakeside, NS B3T 1B1.
