Mrs. Bray and family,
Mr. Bray was such a good and decent man. Almost feel like they don’t make them like that anymore. He helped me catch my very first mackerel somewhere off the Northwest Arm. I remember him explaining to me that as a fish they were so aggressive I didn’t have to overthink it. He gave me cooking tips when I did manage to land one. In our house he was the final authority on any carpentry questions with my Dad often saying “I’ll ask Pat.” So hard to lose those we love but what a magnificent life. You and yours are in my thoughts.

Dear Mary & Bray Family
We were sorry to learn of Pat's passing. He and I oftwn axknowedged each other during Mass at St. Agnes. It was not until we both returned to Port Morien in 2014 to attend the funeral of our nephew, David Bray, that we once again shared a splendid conversation. Pat was a fine gentleman who was certainly deserving of the praise listed by all who love this wonderful man.
Despite our age difference he always demonstrated appreciation for a youngster growing up in Port Morien. Taking his time to speak with respect and concern. One of the many gifts Pat held throughout his life. Life often teachest us to appreciate the moments it has provided.
Those moments in time are your source of strength during these difficult days ahead.
Deepest sympathy,
Gus & Shirley McDonald

I was reading Mr. Bray's obituary and realized that his father and my mother were first cousins. His grandfather and my grandfather (Jim Bray) were brothers. They were born in Copper Lake and my grandfather lived in Springfield.
My condolences to your family on his passing. A beautiful obituary and a life well lived. May he rest in peace. God Bless

Dear Karen, Patricia, Richard, Robert, Paula, John, Ronald, and Sheldon,
I was very sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I know how close you all were to him, and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Although I only knew your dad in passing, he always struck me as a kind and gentle man. Reading his obituary, it’s clear he lived a full 93 years and was deeply devoted to his family.
I also remember that he did some work at my parents’ home, including a much-needed upstairs bathroom. The work was top-notch and fairly priced, and my parents, Gerald and Shirley, were delighted.
Please accept my sincere condolences. Thinking of you all.
