John Francis Briggs passed away peacefully at Cape Breton Regional Hospital on April 24, 2026, surrounded by his devoted family.

John was a beloved brother and a cherished "Unc" to his nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces.

He will be remembered most for his quick wit, his feisty nature, and the genuine warmth he extended to those closest to him.

He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness and a family that will miss him dearly.
