Jennifer Anne Wigginton Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Anne Wigginton on April 8, 2026, in the QEII Halifax Infirmary after a short battle with cancer.
Jennifer will be fondly remembered as a devoted and hardworking woman who deeply loved her family and welcomed her friends as her own. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Jennifer was a devoted mother to Corinne and Lincoln, and a loving nana to her cherished grandchildren, Ayden, Antwuan, Cayen, Nevaeh, and Jontae, whom she adored deeply.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Wigginton; her sisters, Denise, Celeste, Jacqueline (Bruce), and Tracy; and her brother, Christopher.
She was predeceased by her sister, Heather; brother, Kevin; and nephew, Tyeson.
She is also predeceased by her father, Harold Wigginton, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
Jennifer leaves behind her goddaughter, Ashley, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
She was a person who loved to work and made sure everyone was well taken care of.
Jennifer thought the world of her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved oldies music, and when the right song came on, she wasn’t afraid to hit the dance floor.
Jennifer was a private person who loved with her whole heart.
Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at the Halifax Infirmary on 8.2 for their compassionate care and support.
