We, the family, regret to announce the passing of Gerald Edward Parsons on March 2, 2026. Born in Glace Bay on August 18, 1952, he was the son of the late Arthur and Theresa (Warren) Parsons.

Gerald is survived by his son, Shane (Jodi) and grandchildren, Breton and Jayde. He is also survived by his brothers, Leonard (Diane), Arthur Jr. (Cheryl); sisters, Darlene (Robert) Brufatto, and Lorraine (Stuart) MacLeod; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve Street, Glace Bay, NS. There will be no visitation or funeral service.

A special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of the Cape Breton Regional Hospitals ICU Team, as well as his brother, Leonard, for being at his side during his final moment.
