Dawson James Hazel- 76 of Windsor NS passed away on March 2, 2026 in the QEII Halifax infirmary site.

Born in Advocate, NS, he was a son of the late, John and Lena (Morris) Hazel.

Dawson was an avid fisherman by trade for 27 years and was employed by Central building supplies in his later years. He enjoyed playing cards, watching old movies, drinking, lots of coffee and eating sweets.

He is survived by his friend, Elaine Dagley; stepson, Kevin Sampson (Tyesha); brothers, Vincent (Marilyn), Wilson (Francis); and sister, Donna Simmonds.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Bertram and Gerald; sister Dawn Lewis.
