With broken hearts, we, the family of Daryl Gromick, regret to announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home in Coxheath.

Born on August 24, 1960, in Sydney, he was the son of the late Archie and Lois (Timmons) Gromick.

Daryl is survived by his son, Joey Currie; his sister, Ellen Gromick (Bob Fitzgerald), Coxheath; along with many cousins.

Daryl’s love for music and guitars grew with him from early childhood. His passion, expertise, and knowledge contributed to his widespread recognition within the music community, playing in numerous bands and generating a vast circle of lifelong friends.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Cremation and Burial Specialists, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, NS. There will be no visitation or service at this time. A Celebration of Life will take place at an undetermined time. Interment to take place at Alfred Smith Cemetery at a later date.
