It is with deep heartache that we the family of Amelia Tracey announce her passing on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Amelia is the daughter of Daniel and Anna McNeil of Glace Bay.

Amelia was a very loving and compassionate lady. She enjoyed going camping and swimming, but above all, Amelia appreciated spending time with her family and going to Bingo with her sister Rosie. Amelia will be missed dearly.

Amelia is survived by her husband and soulmate Brian Tracey of 50 years; a son Brian Tracey Jr.; daughter Melissa Tracey; Four brothers Joey (Gwen) McNeil, Shawn (Erica) Mcneil, Danny (Denise) McNeil and Steven (Gladys) McNeil; a sister Rosanna MacDonald; sister-in-law Diane (Roy) McNeil and brother-in-law John (Lorrina)Tracey; two grandchildren: Robert and Jason Tracey.

Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. (902)849-4199. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 2-4 p.m.
