It is with deep sorrow, that we, the family of Brenda Anne Dunn, 69, of Dominion/Glace Bay, announce her passing on Friday, February 20, 2026, at home. Born in Glace Bay, Brenda was the daughter of the late Mary Geddes and the late Joseph Hill.


Brenda was employed at Clearwater Seafoods for sixteen years and made many lasting friendships while there and continued that friendship even after retirement. Brenda had many hobbies which included her love of crocheting, knitting, and sewing.


Brenda is survived by her very special niece Kimberly Lambert; brother Richard Geddes (Dara Button); two sisters: Joan Hill and Helen (Cecil) Spears; grandchildren: Caleb, Mason, and Isla; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.


Along with her parents, Brenda was predeceased by a sister Linda Bisson and a brother Ronnie Hill.


Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. (902)849-4199.
