Raymond Joseph McGee Obituary
Raymond McGee, beloved husband, proud father, and grandfather, passed away, surrounded by love, on January 30, 2026, after a short, but brave fight with cancer.
Ray was a talented musician, and with his great love of music, he gave joy to all who gathered to listen and sing with him, leaving many wonderful memories of campfire singalongs & special occasion gatherings.
His quick wit and Irish sense of humor kept his loved ones laughing along with him throughout his entire journey through life.
He was also happy in the outdoors and his time in nature with camping, fishing, boating, hunting, beachcombing & even working out in his yard on one of his many outdoor projects.
Ray was also a skilled and gifted carpenter and handyman. He could build or fix anything and was known for sharing his many talents with his friends and family.
A father figure to many, he was always the first to step up and provide unconditional love to anyone who needed it, and he always made family his number one priority.
Ray will be forever and deeply missed by his loving wife and best friend of 42 years, Linda; his daughters, Sylvie Pierce (Patrick) and Julie Ryeland (Adam); as well as his precious grandchildren, Sidra, Katie, Hope, Paige, and Nathan, who are heartbroken at the loss of their Dad and Papa.
Also deeply saddened by the loss of Ray are his remaining siblings, his many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Ray, knows that he has touched many lives and leaves behind so many funny and memorable stories about him.
If love could have kept him here, Ray would have lived forever.
