So sad to hear another old car lover has left his car world behind behind and all his loved ones. May you find time to visit Linda and talk of him with her. I met Doug when I was a young child, Linda was mine and my 2 brothers babysitter, she had a huge part in raising us as children. Doug was always around and was always so kind to us. He was a very gentle kind man who we looked up to as children. I remember Linda letting us steal some of his cream puff cookies out of the cupboard and being in awe of his classic car in the garage. Great memories with Linda and Doug growing up. Was very saddened to hear of his passing . Rest in peace Doug and my condolences to Linda and the rest of the family. - Lee Robertson

Q: How did you meet Douglas? A: I met Doug through Linda when we were very young. We all hung out at the Dominion store parking lot. Doug was always a car guy like my late husband, Butch. He had a good head on his shoulder, was a great family man and could be very funny at times. He loved their furbabies as well. Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to Linda and family. We (the late Butch) & I were friends , lived in the same area and hung around with Linda & Doug in our younger years. Then met up for a time with the antique cars. Doug was a great guy, may he rest in peace forever. Prayers, love & hugs

He was my Dads brother so it feels like i lost another inspiring human that i got to grow up around Uncle Doug was the funny uncle who always had you smiling and laughing he will be greatly missed.
