Martha “Yvonne’ Jones (Nee Devison) passed away peacefully in her 88th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roy, with whom she shared many years of love and partnership; as well as her brother, Sandy Devison.

Yvonne will be lovingly remembered for her warm heart, steady presence, and deep love she had for her family and friends.

Yvonne was a devoted mother who will lovingly be remembered by her children; Debbie (Pat), Lynn, Joseph, and Alice (Jimmy). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Tammy, Jamie, Dawn Marie, Stephanie, and Jacob; and several great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her great joy and pride. Her family was the center of her world and her love for them was constant, quiet, and unwavering.

Yvonne was a proud member of the Barkers Point Lioness, where she enjoyed being part of a community devoted to helping others. She also dedicated many years of service working at the DVA and she took pride in her work and the people she worked alongside.

The family extends their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff and nurses of Richmond Villa who provided Yvonne with compassionate care over the many years. Your dedication and kindness meant more than words can express.

A very special thank you is also offered to her cousin, Dorothy Sampson, the sister she never had, and to her best friends, Joanne Boudreau and Sheila Britten, for their love, support, and friendship over many years, which brought great comfort to Yvonne and her family.

Yvonne will be remembered for her gentle strength, her caring heart, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and quiet grace that will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
