Sylvia Pauline Wagge Nee Keeping passed away peacefully at Melville Nursing Home in Spryfield, on January 5, 2026.

She was the daughter of Bride and Charles Keeping, born in Indian Harbour, NS, October 15, 1933.

Sylvia had moved to Labrador with her husband, William Wagge, in the mid 1950's where they raised four children; Janet, William (Lavel), Chris, and Cynthia (Lyndon). These siblings blessed them with several wonderful grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply; Jillian Sanford (Emma), Micheal Watters and Neal Watters of Halifax; plus Chantelle Blackmore, Michael Wagge, Nathan Wagge, Rebecca Wagge, Charles Wagge, Johathan Wagge, and Matthew Wagge, of Alberta. There are several great grandkids she never got to meet. She then returned to Halifax in the mid 1980's, very happy to again be near her beloved sisters, Carol Salah, and Linda Watters, and delighted in knowing her respective nieces and nephews: Debbie Scott, Denise Watters and Jason Salah and Charles Watters.

She resided in Halifax until her passing. The family is ever grateful for the professional care and camaraderie shown by Melville Nursing home staff, doctors and nurses, while Sylvia resided there.

She will forever be missed by her family, whose hearts hold much love for her, always.
