Michael (Mike) Peter Peskett, 71, of Hatchet Lake, N.S. passed away on January 6, 2026, in the QEII Halifax Infirmary Hospital.

Mike was born on April 18, 1954 (Easter Sunday) to the late, Sidney and Kathleen Peskett in Halifax N.S.

Mike worked in the grocery store business at a very early age and later became a salesman in N.S. and B.C. In the last 20 years of his career, he worked as a courier in HRM. His favourite hobbies were bowling, golfing, and watching his beloved Montreal Canadians.

Mike is survived by his spouse, Roseanne Kaizer; her children, Randy (Sarah) Petitpas, and Laura (Justin) Davis; and her 4 granddaughters. He is also survived by brothers, Ken (Wyn) Peskett, Ray Peskett; and nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Paulette (Stewart) Bezanson.

It was Mike’s wishes to not have a funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
