I only knew Kassidy for a far too short semester in a literature class, but she stood out from the start with her curiosity, the originality of her thoughts and her profound kindness. Our families being friends, I always thought Kassidy was a neat kid. Kind, thoughtful, responsible, mature, a great listener, and she had great style! She seemed like the best big sister and such a helpful daughter.

Being around Kassidy was a joy not only for me, but for everyone that surrounded her. She always made sure people felt comfortable, included, and truly cared for. It was clear she was raised with so much love, and she shared that love with everyone around her. Missing you so much Khali ❤️

Kassidy came into our lives in 2021 when we opened the ice cream shop. She had worked with us every year and because of her amazing personal skills she quickly became our manager. She was liked by everyone and to us she felt like a precious granddaughter. We will miss her warm and happy smile. She will be sadly missed. We are sending love, hugs and kisses to her family

We saw Kassidy infrequently over the years, but often enough to know that she was a beautiful child who blossomed into a truly wonderful young person full of life, energy and ambition. Mike, Amber and family, we wish we could do or say something to help you cope with this tragic loss. This is devastating news. Love to everyone out East. Love you all and am thinking of you daily. I first met Kassidy when my sister hosted her and the family for a party in Calgary. I didn’t know Kassidy well but this time last year our cat got outside and Kassidy was determined to help us get our cat back it took us a week but we got the cat back in her yard she was so happy the cat was home.
