It is with profound sadness that the family of Geraldine L. Norton, age 81 of Bedford, Nova Scotia announces her peaceful passing on December 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Dartmouth Nova Scotia to the late, Edward & Theresa Feeney. Geraldine was a long-standing member of the CWL, a teacher at NSCC and was Valedictorian of her class at the Teachers College where she earned her degree. Geraldine loved baking and loved spending time with her family.

Geraldine was survived by her husband, James Norton of 58 Years; sons, Christopher Norton (Janet), and Gregory Norton; daughter, Gillian (Neil) Byce; brothers, Ralph Feeney (Donna), Robert Feeney (Lois); sisters, Margaret Cooper (Bruce), Theresa Cooze, Catherine (Jim) Delfs, Mary MacDonald, Martha (Daniel) Anderson; grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Norton, Joshua (Janae) Norton, Jacob (Veronica) Norton, Logan Kennedy; great grandchildren, Landon, Kayson, Vera, Harrison, Jonah, Sloane, Roman and Bohdi; sisters-in-law, Gerry Feeney, and Kathie Feeney.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank, Paul, and James; sister in infancy, Janet; brother-in-law, Craig.

Geraldine, “Gerry” was a shining light to her family and will be dearly missed.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday December 18, 2025 at 1pm in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish - Saint Peter Church, 10 Maple St., Dartmouth, NS B2Y 1E2.
