Although I did get to hug you and see you before the Celebration of Life, I just wanted you to know that Lonnie will always be with you and looking over you because he is forever in your hearts.

As a kid, he was always so funny—I remember going camping with the whole Murphy clan, the snow forts and sledding hills he built for all the neighborhood kids, and of course the tree house. Many years ago when I was a long term sub at GBHS,Lonnie and I had 'hall duty' together . Without fail, he took out paper and pen to write letters to his daughters. He spoke with such adoration in his voice whenever he mentioned his daughter's. It's been 18 years since I left GBH and I still hold that memory of Lonnie. Also offering condolences to all his sisters and brothers whom I grew up with in our little neighbourhood and cherish all those memories of playing road hockey, baseball, snowball forts and snowball fights, lol. While I lived next door to the Murphy’s since I was a child, Lonnie and family were more than just neighbors, they are family.
