Jessica Theresa Cuvelier 1987- 2025.

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Jessica Theresa Cuvelier who passed peacefully at the QEII on December 2/2025 surrounded by the love of her family.

Jessica will be forever cherished and remembered by her daughter Baily Cuvelier, her mother Nicole Cuvelier (Chris Chiasson) her sister Michelle Cuvelier (Charles Oliver) and her nephews Malakai and Charlie.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her Cuvelier and Mansour family.

Jessica was predeceased by her father Brian Cuvelier, who we have no doubt was waiting for her with open arms on the other side.

Jessica was known for her love of animals especially cats and her love of horror movies. Jessica loved to write and read, and was extremely creative. Her sense of humour kept us laughing right up till her last moments.

Jessica was so much more to us than the addiction that took her from us, she was a daughter, a mother, a sister and a friend. Jessica was strong and resilient, she was beautiful and she was brave right up till the end. Jessica's battle is finally over and she can now be free, for that we are grateful. Addiction may have taken her but it will never define the person we knew her to be.

We will miss her and we will forever celebrate her life, every Queensland beach day, every Eminem song, every Baileys and milk on Christmas Eve. We will never forget to remember who she was to each of us.

To her daughter Baily, you were everything to her, the light at the end of the tunnel, the strength to keep fighting, it was all for you, let that love light your way through life.

“ To my sister, my heart is broken, I will forever cherish our bunkbed forts and barbie adventures, our bubbles and heart binkie play dates. The moments of laughter, the horrible boy band songs we sang at the top of our lungs. The fight for the bathroom !!! The times we spent just being moms hanging out with our babies. You will always be a part of me, one I will take with me on the rest of my journey, walk with me sister because I am going to need you the rest of the way” Michelle

“ To my daughter, I wish you could have seen yourself through my eyes, only then would you truly know how much I loved you. There will not be a day that goes by that I will not think of you, my life will never be the same. Please my beautiful girl be at peace now, that will give me the strength to carry on” Mom

The family would like to send a huge Thank You to the staff at the QEII ICU floor for their kindness and care of our girl during her last moments. You were all so amazing.
