ROBAR, Blake Byron, Bear River East, Born November 5, 1956

The Robar family are deeply saddened by the death of their brother Blake on November 28, 2025. He is predeceased by his loving parents, father Malcolm and mother Aleitha (Blackadar). sister Lois Halifax, brothers Blair and Clair, both residents of Bear River East and lastly, Glen (Darlene) Truro.

Blake is survived by sisters Gloria (Fred) Buckler, Bridgetown; Rosalie, Ottawa; and Phyllis (Michael), Halifax. He is survived by his brother, Bernard (Diane) of Belleville, Ontario.

He is also survived by nephews and nieces, namely Michael (wife Tamara, son Justin and daughter Olivia), Truro; and Jamie (wife Marsha, son Vale and daughter Marleigh), Truro; nephew Kevin Buckler, Bridgetown and niece Kim (Kevin) Waterman, Tanger, Nova Scotia; and lastly, nephews Bradley (wife Marrie, and sons Levi and Cailym), Belleville; and Todd (wife Kelly, son Lennox and daughter Blakely), Belleville, Ontario.

Blake was a lifelong resident of Bear River East where he owned a maintenance shop and friends and acquaintances often dropped by to get vehicles maintained or just to hang out as friends to spend some quality time.

Blake was also an accomplished builder who built his residential home, his maintenance shop as well as well as a camp on his woodlot, all of which was constructed from trees cut and harvested as logs on his property. He often expressed his gratitude for the help of his friends who were always ready to help whenever he needed them.

Blake will be sadly missed by family and friends, well known for his sense of humor and kindness, who had the pleasure of his company during his lifetime.

Blake, as some of us know, had a soft spot for God's four-legged creatures who dropped by for food or strays he took in when they needed shelter.

There will be no scheduled church service. Cremation has taken place and a family service and burial in the Bear River cemetery at a later date.
