Prescille Marie (Lombard) Woodman, 77

It is with heavy hearts the family of Prescille Marie (Lombard) Woodman, loving wife of Paul Woodman, announces her sudden passing on Sunday November 23, 2025, at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Corberrie, NS on November 2, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Anselm and Armeline (Saulnier) Lombard. She is predeceased by her siblings Adelard Lombard, Gustave Lombard, Louis Lombard and Laura Comeau.

In addition to her loving husband of 50 years, Paul, she is survived by her daughter Tina (Chris) Griffin; her cherished grandchildren Allie and Connor; brother Victor Lombard and sister Rose Marie Comeau (Eddie, Deceased); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Prescille had a very rewarding career, working for the Capital District Health Authority for 35 years before her retirement in 2002, where she last worked at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital. She was proud of her Acadian heritage. She loved to cook authentic Acadian dishes and took pride in following a family tradition of making beautiful quilts for her family. She loved spending time with friends and family and having family together to celebrate the holidays.

Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialist, Halifax. She will be placed to rest with a graveside prayer service on Tuesday December 2nd, 2025, at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Cemetery, 6 Bedford Hwy, Halifax.
