It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Donna Sharon Thomas on November 23, 2025, at the Glace Bay Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Debbie (Littlewood) Reid.


Donna was a great baker, loved her bingo nights with her many friends. Her pastime was knitting and crocheting creating many wonderful items.


Donna is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Francie Thomas; sons, Jay (Dorothy), Donkin, Clayton (Sonya), Glace Bay; six grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren whom she adored; brother, Wayne (Laura) Calgary; sisters and brothers in law. She is also survived by her aunts, Corrine Tutty and family, Murdena Young and family, as well as many nieces and nephews.


Besides her parents, paternal grandparents, Joe and Dolly Reid; mother and father-in-law, John and Len Thomas; stepsisters, Dianne and Joanne.


Cremation has taken place. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or service.


A thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at 3 South Glace Bay Hospital for the great care she received during her time there.
