Esther Funmilayo Onisile, 45

It is with great heartache, that we the family of Esther Funmilayo Onisile, of Glace Bay (formerly of Ilorin, Kwara, Nigeria) announce her passing on Saturday, November 8, 2025, with her family at her side. Born in Ilorin, Kwara, Esther was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua and Rebecca Kolawole.

Esther was a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Great Grace Parish, Glace Bay. She was also an encourager. She had a platform which she dedicated for that. Esther was very talented, as she made beads; she was also into fashion, designing many ideas, for which she hoped to someday construct for others. In addition to all of her talents she was also a musical artiste.

Esther is survived by her husband Julius Onisile of 17 years; she is also survived by two beautiful daughters Gbemisola Sharon Onisile and Gbemisire Shalom Onisile; three brothers Muyiwa Kolawile, Opeyemi Kolawole, and Tolulope Kolawole.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, N.S. 902-849-4199.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10 a.m.to 11

1 p.m. in Tracey’s Funeral Home, Glace Bay.
