It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Graham Lawrence, who left us peacefully on October 28, 2025, at the age of 63, surrounded by his loving family. Graham was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend to many wonderful people. Graham’s warmth, kindness and sense of humor touched all who knew him.

Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Graham lived a life defined by integrity, compassion and dedication. He built a meaningful career as a Butcher/Meat Cutter at Cargill in Ontario. Graham’s hard work and commitment earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Beyond his professional life, he was know for his love of fishing, camping and spending time with loved ones. Graham’s generosity and ability to bring people together was outstanding.

Graham is predeceased by his parents, Duncan and Irene Lawrence; grandparents, Graham and Irene MacDonald; Walter and Cecelia Lawrence, all of Glace Bay.

Graham’s greatest joy was being with people who truly loved and cared about him. Graham is survived by and is lovingly remembered by his sister, Ignace (Clint); niece, Brittany (Nick); nephews, Tyler (Amanda), Travis (Emily); great nieces, Faith and Grace as well as his great nephews Liam and Logan.

Graham will be remembered by his daughter Tiffany (Jason) and grandchildren Abigail and Amelia along with many extended family members and dear friends. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.

Graham fought the strongest fight over the last number of years. He told cancer what he was going to do! Graham will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his gentle spirit, warm smile and laughter. Gone but never forgotten, especially by those who stayed by his side until God called him home.

A celebration of Graham’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve Street in Glace Bay, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception, then burial in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens (Garden of the Good Shepherd), Sydney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his honor.
