Our Family is sad to share the news of the passing of our sister, Elizabeth Anne (Beth) MacDonald. Beth was born on April 3, 1960 but celebrated a second birthday on October 31 when she and her brother (4 years later) joined her MacDonald family.

Beth attended St. Michael’s High School in Glace Bay and the Adult Vocational School. Beth was a great cook. One of her greatest pleasures was preparing meals for others and particularly for those in need. When she was healthy, Beth spent many hours volunteering and assisting others. Her kindness was acknowledged frequently by her health care workers.

Beth is survived by her daughter, Sarah; grandchildren, Jaden and Josie; brother, Dan (Cheryl); and sister, Odilia.

Beth was predeceased by her daughter, Lori; brother, Ian; her partner, Cordell; and her parents, Dan (Bumper) and Deanie.

Beth’s strong faith gave her great comfort.

A special thank you is extended to her healthcare team, and to Jenn and to Audrey whose support and kindness were invaluable.

Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Beth's life will be held at a later date
