Darren Roy Levy- Age 65, of Halifax passed away suddenly on October 24, 2025 at home. Born in Halifax, NS to the late Roy Levy and Jean Chisholm.

Darren was a quiet gentleman. He not only had a deep care and concern for nature, he also had a fierce loyalty to his friends (aka Bros) and family. He was a passionate pool player and he spent many hours at Dooly’s with his friends. He was also a member of the Metro Pool League for several years.

After his retirement as owner/operator of Metro landscaping services, he bought his boat “The Seadog”. Some of his best times were spent on Prospect Bay with his family and friends. Darren was also a member of the Halifax Miata club and he and Heather enjoyed many excursions throughout the countryside with the top down.

He was an avid sports fan, never giving up on the Blue Jays or the Maple leafs.

Darren will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his spouse, Heather Hardiman of 22 years; son, Brent Smith; sisters, Lynn Disarro (Doug), Lisa Levy (Phill); grandchildren, Luka and Katelyn Smith.

Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his stepmother, Marlene Levy; stepbrother, Randy Rosborough.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Darren can be made to Hope for Wildlife.
