We the family of Marcel Comeau are deeply saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Hospice Halifax, surrounded by all who loved him.

Marcel was born in Halifax to Caroline and Louis Comeau.

He worked at the IWK hospital for 30+ years where he maintained many friendships that lasted throughout the years.

Marcel was an avid traveller who loved to experience different foods and cultures around the world. He was a collector of many things. (If you know you know). He also dearly loved spending time with family and friends, and of course, also with his sidekick Dash.

He has survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Crystal (Marriott) Comeau, father Louis Comeau; children, Courtney (Calista) Comeau, and Melissa (Blake) Comeau; brothers, Robert, Glen (Sirena); sister, Betty (David).

He was predeceased by his mother Caroline Comeau.

He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Malikyah, Davonte, Treyleigh, and Shaila and extended grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family funeral at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Halifax.
