After a short and courageous battle of cancer, Darin passed away peacefully on Oct 23, 2025.

Darin was more than a father, spouse, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and coworker-he was someone who brightened every day with his contagious smile and laughter. He had a gift for storytelling and a great sense of humor, right up to the end, always ready with a joke or smart remark to share.

He was someone you could always count on, no matter what the situation. Darin loved spending time at home with his family, playing video games, and watching movies together.

Darin worked at Ritchie’s Flooring as a delivery driver, where he was respected and admired by his colleagues for his hard work and dedication.

Darin was predeceased by his father, John, his mother Sheila and his nephew Tyler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Wanda, his sons Porter and Leland, and his brothers Gary (Maria), Robert (Willena) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who he loved so much, and who will miss him dearly.

His warmth, humor, and kindness will always be remembered, and his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

We miss you and love you, Darin (dad). Until we meet again - rest in peace.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Darin Mckerness.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 1st, 2025 at 6pm at the Harrietsfield Community Center.
