Joye Palmer RN
Born in Wallace, Nova Scotia, Joye was the beloved daughter of Charles and Helen Tucker and grew up in Amherst. She passed away surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity and joyful living.
Joye is survived by her devoted husband, Dale; her children, Cheryl, Stephen (Kelly), Beverley (Denis) and Kimberley (Andy); her cherished grandchildren, Colin and Sarah; and her great-grandson, Luca.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Brian; and her grandson, Michael.
Over the years, Saint Margaret's Bay, Chester Basin, and Wolfville were all places Joye lovingly called home.
As a health care professional and dedicated volunteer, she gave back to her community in countless ways. A passionate reader and lover of music, Joye cherished her travels especially throughout her beloved East Coast provinces. Above all, she treasured her flower gardens, which brought her endless happiness and reflected the beauty and warmth she shared with those around her.
Joye will be deeply missed by her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Beechville.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 1:00 pm, in St. Margaret’s Bay Baptist Church. Reception to follow. Donations can be made to a charity of choice.
